Trunkwell House Wedding Photography
Trunkwell House is a lovely venue a few miles from my studio that hosts a lot of wedding ceremonies and receptions every year. As it’s just down the road from me, it comes as no surprise that I have photographed many weddings there. One reason I love photographing weddings at Trunkwell House are the beautiful gardens and the fact that they back onto open fields. It gives Trunkwell a beautiful rural atmosphere and it’s relatively secluded so you can make more noise in the evening than would be possible with a wedding venue in a more urban setting.
Trunkwell House itself is a Victorian manor house, wood panelled and atmospheric but the focus of the wedding is usually the marquee located to the rear of the building. Set up for a wedding it looks great inside and is looks particularly fabulous with the dark blue lining with lights (see image below).
Trunkwell only host one wedding per day so there’s no chance of bumping into another bride :) It’s a flexible wedding reception location as they can cater for quite large wedding parties by putting up a larger marquee in addition to the permanent marquee at Trunkwell which holds up to 200 people.
Here’s a few wedding photographs from Trunkwell House.
